The City Key: Unlocking Solutions to Identity-based Violence – Policy Salon Dinner and Workshop
Invitation Only
In May, the Stanley Center, PiOC, CRIES, and the Kroc Institute for Peace and Justice will co-organize a workshop titled, “The City Key: Unlocking Solutions to Identity-based Violence” at SIPRI’s 2024 Stockholm Forum on Peace and Development.
This roundtable discussion will engage participants in considering peace and violence prevention through the city lens, unpacking insights from two research projects on interrelated, comprehensive, balanced, and legitimate urban violence prevention strategies. This discussion will offer an invitation into recent and yet-to-be-released research on identity-based violence and violence reduction strategies in cities.
We will also hold a policy salon dinner on the sidelines of the forum to deepen discussion on the topic.
