Workshop on Centers of Excellence Collaboration
Invitation Only
This series of workshops exploring the potential for collaboration among Centers of Excellence (COE) in Asia in technical and policy areas offers an opportunity to exchange ideas in an off-the-record setting among government and other knowledgeable experts. The first workshop, which took place in July in Washington, DC, focused on evaluating how the COE might collaborate in the future to strengthen nuclear security implementation nationally and perhaps, regionally.
The October workshop, the second of its kind, will build on the themes explored in July, seeking to identify particular steps the COE can take to promote consistency, transparency, and sustainability beyond 2016. This event is co-organized by the Stanley Center, the Center for Strategic and International Studies, and the Vienna Center for Disarmament and Nonproliferation.
