Focal Points Meeting of the Latin American Network for Genocide and Mass Atrocity Prevention (VIII)
Invitation Only
The Stanley Center will co-host the eighth Focal Points Meeting of the Latin American Network for Genocide and Mass Atrocity Prevention, coinciding with the Latin American Network’s fifth anniversary since it was created in 2012.
The meeting will provide a platform for the member countries and the UN Office on Genocide Prevention and the Responsibility to Protect to discuss viewpoints and suggestions stemming from a questionnaire that was prepared and circulated ahead of the meeting on indigenous people.
There will also be a presentation about the current progress of the project “Education and Mass Atrocity Prevention,” in which representatives from Brazil and El Salvador, as well as the director of the AIPR Program on Education Policies, will be able to inform attendees about the progress registered during this period.
