2025 Accelerator Symposium

The 2025 Accelerator Symposium will bring together a diverse group of nuclear risk reduction professionals for a series of panels and interactive sessions focusing on different aspects of nuclear risk reduction. Rather than diving deeply into a specific risk reduction topic, the Symposium will offer attendees the chance to engage in dialogue with an unusually broad cohort of fellow experts on important questions aimed at reducing nuclear risks.

The Accelerator Initiative offers a career development opportunity for early-career women and nonbinary people working in nuclear weapons policy. By participating in the Stanley Center’s policy dialogues for two calendar years, Accelerators hone and demonstrate their expertise, expand their networks, elevate their profiles, and deepen their interest in nuclear risk reduction issues.
