Regional Dialogue: Decarbonizing Power Sector in Southeast Asia

This discussion provides high-level officers and energy experts valuable insight on challenges and opportunities on issues related to phasing-out fossil fuels and increasing renewable energy deployment and utilization, and allows for the exchange of ideas on regional cooperation to accelerate clean energy transition in the Southeast Asia region that reflect in upcoming regional energy planning as well as contribute to tackling energy poverty, climate change and to support economic growth. The result of discussion is expected to serve as input for the development of collective regional energy targets as at individual country level.
