Realizing the Potential of Renewable Energy as a Tool for Peace

This important panel discussion at COP29’s Peace, Relief, and Recovery Day will consider the ways renewable energy can drive peacebuilding in fragile regions. The discussion is informed by the ongoing collaboration of Energy Peace Partners, the Clingendael Institute, and the Stanley Center for Peace and Security. A recent policy brief from the organizers on “Why Renewable Energy Matters in the Context of Peace and Stability” is available at https://stnl.cr/re-and-peace.
