Realizing ASEAN Vision 2045: From Vision to Implementation through the ASEAN Energy Transformative Initiative (AETI) Agenda
Invitation Only
The urgency to shift toward a green economy is gaining momentum across Southeast Asia as ASEAN member states confront the dual challenge of sustaining robust economic growth while addressing the escalating impacts of climate change. This builds on a sequence of ASEAN Chairmanships to address energy transition and green economy issues, initiated by Indonesia (2023) in addressing “the epicentrum of growth” with emphasis on energy security as a key element; Laos (2024) with “connectivity and resilience”; and Malaysia (2025) as current chairman with “Inclusivity and Sustainability” as central themes.
