July 10, 2019 | New York, NY, USA | Mass Violence and Atrocities

Impact:Peace Policy Salon

Invitation Only

The goal of Impact:Peace, launched in San Diego in May 2019, is to create smarter, more effective, and better funded ways to reduce violent conflict and build peaceful societies. It will do so by leveraging evidence to accelerate the most important change processes in the peacebuilding field as identified by expert policymakers, influencers, and practitioners. Through networks and partnerships, the Impact:Peace team at the Kroc Institute for Peace and Justice will seek to synthesize the most rigorous research available, produce original research, and develop innovative ways to connect that evidence with those driving positive change.

Discussion during this event includes key challenges and opportunities regarding how research and evidence can be leveraged to drive positive change within the peacebuilding and atrocities prevention fields. We hope to have a rich discussion that will contribute to the strategy of this new initiative.
