Green Bank Design Summit
Invitation Only
The Green Bank Design Summit will be a first-of-its-kind convening of stakeholders vital to the establishment of national green banks and other green finance institutions and facilities. At a time when accelerating green finance flows is growing more urgent around the world, a growing number of countries and regions are designing financial institutions to support low-carbon growth and sustainable development. Until now, leading practitioners working to build these institutions have lacked a forum to exchange knowledge, collaborate to overcome shared challenges, and tap into international resources. The Summit will launch country-driven, ongoing collaboration to forge a community of practice and accelerate establishment of green banks, with a focus on emerging markets.
This event is organized by the Rocky Mountain Institute, NRDC, Climate Finance Advisors, Coalition for Green Capital, E3G, Inter-American Development Bank, the Stanley Center, and Climate Policy Initiative; sponsored by ClimateWorks Foundation, Green Climate Fund, Green Bank Network, and European Climate Foundation; and hosted by Agence Française de Développement (AFD).
