Discussion of Digital Dilemmas: Nuclear Weapons, Governance, and Emerging Technologies

This private dinner, featuring Dr. Amy Nelson, a research scholar at the Center for International & Security Studies at Maryland, will consider the potential impacts of emerging and evolving technologies on traditional nuclear nonproliferation and arms control regimes. The dinner, and accompanying draft briefing paper, will identify current challenges to arms control regimes, examine which technologies have received significant attention and why, explore what should be done next (or what may be overlooked), and assesses the outlook for technology governance.
