Blockchain and Nuclear Safeguards: The Potential for Distributed Ledger Technology

This policy salon, our fourth event on the topic in collaboration with Cindy Vestergaard of the Stimson Center, will discuss recent research on the potential use of Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT) for the management of IAEA nuclear safeguards information.
The discussion will focus on next steps in this research agenda and needs or opportunities for those working on the topic. Invited guests to this salon include presenters and organizers from the panel on the topic at the IAEA Safeguards Symposium. Guests also include participants from our earlier events on the topic in Vienna, San Francisco, and Baltimore.
