2022 Gender Champions in Nuclear Policy Focal Points Retreat

Focal Points and Gender Champions play key roles in implementing member organization’s commitments and contributing to the Gender Champions in Nuclear Policy (GCNP) network. We last gathered in person in January 2020 to build and strengthen connections for collaboration and peer support within the network and identify shared goals. Over the past two years the network has grown significantly, weathered a pandemic, and undergone a change of leadership. We once again have the opportunity to meet in person and strengthen our ability to work together toward advancing gender equity.  

Participants at this workshop will learn from one another’s experiences, collectively identify best practices, and achieve greater progress toward GCNP commitments. Observations from the workshop will be captured in a summary document that will be shared within the network, built on in subsequent Focal Point meetings, and used to inform onboarding of new Champions and Focal Points.
