Peace in Our Cities Regional Member Workshop: Urbanization and Violence Reduction

Peace in Our Cities (PiOC) and the Life & Peace Institute have partnered on an Africa Regional Member Workshop on urbanization, violence prevention, and peacebuilding, to be held in Nairobi, Kenya, from February 24-27, 2025. This workshop will bring together experts in violence reduction, leaders from PiOC member cities, and representatives from local, regional, and global organizations for interactive sessions, site visits, and collaborative dialogue on innovative approaches to address urban violence—with a specific focus on Africa’s unique context of rapid urbanization and social change.
