The 1.5°C Limit and Policy Change
Invitation Only
The Stanley Center will host a policy dinner that will bring together individuals from like-minded organizations to discuss the status of policy and how to further develop advocacy strategies on 1.5° C. Discussions will address the current understanding of 1.5° C pathways, adaptation, and impacts; how this has influenced policy and encouraged ambition since the adoption of the Paris Agreement; and how to strengthen the 1.5° C limit for advocacy and policy moving forward. Ahead of the IPCC Special Report on 1.5° C, participants will anticipate what the report may cover and what gaps there currently are in peer-reviewed literature. The dinner will be hosted in cooperation with CARE International.
