Benjamin Loehrke is senior program officer for nuclear weapons at the Stanley Center for Peace and Security, where he designs, organizes, and implements all aspects of the center’s work to halt the spread and avoid the use of nuclear weapons. Loehrke’s areas of expertise include arms control, nonproliferation, nuclear weapons strategy, and defense budgeting. Before joining the Stanley Center, Loehrke was senior policy analyst at Ploughshares. Loehrke has a Master of Public Policy from the University of Maryland and a Bachelor of Arts in political science from Indiana University.
