Patty Papke is vice president and director of operations at the Stanley Center for Peace and Security, where she oversees all facets of its event and technology operations domestically and internationally. In addition to managing the financial, technical, and organizational aspects of events and meetings around the world, the operations team ensures that all operations adhere to the center’s high standards of environmental sustainability. Prior to working at the center, Papke spent 10 years in Colorado as a planner of more than 100 events annually—including trade shows, conferences, and special meetings for clients from different industries—before moving to Texas to organize conferences and trade shows globally. She also was based in London for two years and has worked for two nonprofits in the Midwest. Papke has a BA from Colgate University.
