Francie Williamson

Communications Specialist

Francie Williamson is a communications specialist with the Stanley Center for Peace and Security, where she is a writer and editor for the center’s publications, manages the center’s social media accounts, and helps implement the center’s strategic communications plan. Williamson has more than 15 years of experience in journalism and media. Before joining the Stanley Center, she worked at the Gazette and KCRG-TV9 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, as well as other newspapers in Iowa, Georgia, Maine, and South Carolina. Williamson has a Bachelor of Journalism degree from the University of Missouri with a minor in political science and an MS in integrated marketing communications from West Virginia University.
