The Action Agenda: Climate Action from the Ground-up to 2020 and Beyond

The Stanley Center, in collaboration with Climate Action Network (CAN-International), Global Call for Climate Action (GCCA), and Galvanizing the Groundswell of Climate Actions (GGCA), will host an outreach and engagement reception “The Action Agenda: Climate Action from the Ground-up to 2020 and Beyond.” The objective of the reception is to share campaign and advocacy approaches on the groundswell of climate actions happening at all levels with the intent to honor the Action Agenda in Paris and beyond.

The reception will begin with a presentation of the Critical Pathways 2020 project and will feature speeches with the aim to amplify the key messages of the Action Agenda, demonstrating how COP21 is a launching pad for pre–2020 action and for greater ambition in national contributions and climate action at all levels.
