Prevention in Latin America: Launch of the 2014 Annual Report of the Latin American Network for Genocide and Mass Atrocity Prevention

Representatives of the permanent missions of member of the Latin American Network for Genocide and Mass Atrocity Prevention and others are invited to gather for the official launch of the Network’s 2014 Annual Report. Founded in March 2012, the Network is a leading initiative fostering capacity building and policy development in this field. The report showcases what UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon has called an effective “partnership for prevention.”
Organizers and speakers include representatives from the Auschwitz Institute for Peace and Reconciliation, the UN Office of the Special Advisers on the Prevention of Genocide and the Responsibility to Protect, the Stanley Center, and White & Case LLP.
