Bright Spots: Expert Views on Emerging-Established Power Cooperation
Invitation Only
In 2013 the Stanley Center carried out a wide-ranging consultation with expert colleagues in the policy communities of emerging and established powers—asking which issues draw their interest as well as the attention of their governments. Stepping back from the panoply of ongoing multilateral efforts, we wanted to take a fresh look at the agenda and ask which problems warrant a more prominent push. Taking stock of the international agenda with a view to the interests of newer as well as older power centers, the “Bright Spots” report lays out a varied menu of issues. Participants will discuss the findings of the report and how to encourage continued multilateral cooperation between emerging and established powers.
