Peace in Our Cities Peace Incentive Fund Webinar: City of Cali, Colombia and Fundación Alvaralice
Registration Required
Our Peace Incentive Fund virtual series continues on Wednesday, April 27 from 10:30 AM –12:00 PM EDT (UTC-4:00), featuring recipients from the City of Cali and Fundación Alvaralice. Funding from the PIF supported new research related to ongoing work by Fundación Alvaralice examining the patterns and trends of lethal violence in areas of Cali with informal settlements. The project initiated the design of an information management system to process monitoring and evaluation data on violence prevention strategies in the city. The second project to be discussed, led by the City of Cali and the Archdiocese of Cali, targets high-impact crimes committed by members of organized criminal groups in the city, and builds on previous city-led work on urban violence as it relates to the legacy of the peace process and structural violence. The webinar will include English and Spanish interpretation. El webinar contará con interpretación al Español.
