Nuclear Security Governance Experts Group Workshop

This workshop, titled Nuclear Security Beyond the Summits: Sustaining Momentum and Advancing Global Nuclear Security After 2016, will feature a discussion of how to generate meaningful outcomes from the 2016 NSS, build support for the 2014 NSS Strengthening Nuclear Security Implementation initiative, and develop options for continuing progress after the NSS process ends. Additionally, the workshop will consider how to continue cooperation with the nuclear industry as well as sustainable leadership models after 2016.

The Nuclear Security Governance Experts Group is a globally diverse group with broad nuclear sector experience working to define a long-term vision for nuclear security and a path for achieving a secure nuclear future. This meeting is convened by the Asan Institute for Policy Studies, Partnership for Global Security, and the Stanley Center.
