Mobilization To Paris and Beyond and Critical Pathways 2020 – Outreach and Engagement
Invitation Only
The workshop and reception are organized by the Stanley Center in collaboration with Global Call for Climate Action (GCCA) and Climate Action Network (CAN) International on the Critical Pathways 2020 project. The portion of the workshop discussion on Mobilization to Paris and Beyond is a follow-up to a center event held earlier this year in Tarrytown, New York.
The workshop and networking event will bring together communication, advocacy, and campaign leaders to discuss priority campaigning objectives and narratives related to climate action for the 2016-2020 period. Participants will discuss climate action campaigns and narratives in the context of the Post-2015 sustainable development agenda and success in and after Paris in December 2015 as the world launches into pathways toward a safe climate world.
We will work together to review and comment on the emerging conclusions of the Critical Pathways 2020 project as well as identify shared objectives and opportunities for collaboration on mobilization and communication strategies up to and beyond COP 21 in Paris.
