Focal Points Meeting of the Latin American Network for Genocide and Mass Atrocity Prevention (VII)
The seventh gathering of the governmental focal points who are a part of the Latin American Network for Genocide and Mass Atrocity Prevention will provide the necessary space for engaging in meaningful dialogue and advancing concrete ideas and proposals for atrocity prevention in the region. It is the second of two biannual meetings of the network; the previous meeting was held in Montevideo, Uruguay in July 2016. Each country representative will provide a summary of ongoing national programs pertaining to the Network’s efforts in each country and engage in discussion on the effectiveness of any ongoing practices and national initiatives.
