100 Percent Renewable Energy for 1.5°C
Champions from civil society, governments and businesses will come together for an unprecedented, major event at the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change’s (UNFCCC) 22nd Conference of the Parties (COP22) in Marrakech, Morocco. The event, “100 Percent Renewable Energy for 1.5° C,” will make the case for a transition to 100 percent renewable energy as the ethical, feasible, financially sound, and logical approach to address climate change and keep global warming below 1.5° C. The Stanley Center is collaborating with Climate Action Network and a number of other organizations on this event, which is hosted by the COP22 Presidency and the Climate Vulnerable Forum.
