1.5°C—Mobilizing Action and Political Will for a Safer Future
Invitation Only
The inclusion of the 1.5° C limit in the Paris Agreement was a key achievement from the perspective of vulnerable countries and communities, conveying a message of hope to survive and thrive under a changing climate. Now it is time to take steps for its implementation and to build up mobilization in policy and practice in the run-up to the key political moment of 2018. The event, co-hosted by the Stanley Center, the Climate Action Network (CAN), and CARE International, will discuss recent developments with regard to 1.5° C and key actions and decisions that need to be taken.
